Virginia Knight graduated with honours from Monash University with a Bachelor in Medicine/Bachelor of surgery in 1998. She went on to complete her Physician training at Monash Medical Centre and was the Chief Medical Resident at the hospital in 2005. She was awarded her fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in 2006. Virginia completed a PhD through Monash University focussed on the pathogenesis of liver disease on which she has published and presented at national and international conferences.

Virginia consults at Caulfield endoscopy. She performs gastroscopy and colonoscopy at Caulfield endoscopy and Cabrin hospital where she also has admitting rights. Virginia enjoys providing comprehensive care in all aspects of gastroenterology including Liver disease, Inflammatory bowel disease and functional gut disorders.
